Peer Gynt, written by the famous and prolific playwright Henrik Ibsen, is a classic morality tale. It follows a young boy named Peer as he tries to navigate the space between his ambitions and his realities. Peer thinks very highly of himself, often calling himself a king when he is no more than a commoner. Since he is far from his desires, Peer turns to lies and vivid imagination to fulfill his fantasies. As he learns and grows, he comically frustrates the more honest townsfolk, meets goblins and unseen monsters, and finds his way to true friendship and grace in the end. It is an engaging and humorous story, and we hope you come to see it!
