On Saturday, April 12, all the dorms went down to the rink to participate in an all-school dodgeball tournament. Dorms were divided into two separate teams: Mayer, Taylor, and Flagler on the Blue Team, and Halsted, Eagles Nest, and Kravis on the Red Team. The teams would first compete against their own dorms, and whoever placed 1st in their group would face off against the other team’s 1st dorm, 2nd against 2nd, 3rd against 3rd, and so on. The rink that night buzzed with energy and cheers, and Eaglebrook spirit filled the room. After an intense competition, Kravis House emerged victorious, securing the win for the Red Team. Following the tournament, everyone headed up to Gibbs for a delicious sundae buffet, complete with sprinkles, student’s choice. The tournament was hosted by Max Newman ’25, Jett Roberts ’25, and Jacob Kaufelt ’25.
Another tournament held on a Saturday (April 5) was the Poker Tournament organized by Jack Shaw, where students competed against each other in poker until one person was crowned the winner. The winner not only had the privilege of showing off to their friends but also received a free McDonald’s meal! After lengthy poker matches, Oscar Wang ’26 was named the winner. Gratitude was expressed to the dealers, Paco Zhang ’26, Edward Yates ’25, Jonathan Jiang ’26, and Jack Shaw ’26, for organizing the Poker Tournament.
