About

Established in 1929, The Hearth is the student newspaper of Eaglebrook School and the second-oldest continuously published middle school newspaper in the United States.

The Hearth is written and edited by Eaglebrook students with support from faculty advisors Emily Bedell and Ana Dias-Leyden. Aric Russom is the newspaper’s lead photographer.

The editorial team produces three print issues per year at Country Fair, Winter Carnival, and Commencement.
