This year’s Varsity football team is led by new faculty coaches Conor Hawkins and Seven Terry. The returning faculty coaches are Coach Jiu, Coach Fay, Coach Goodrow, and our Head Coach, Mr. Faulstick. The team looks forward to a successful season starting on the home field against Williston, with the game captains being Rasmus R. and Chase E.
The team practices daily, ensuring everyone is prepared when it is time to show their skills on the field. Each practice starts with warm-ups, and then the team splits and dives straight into practice, such as skill players running routes or linemen doing stress drills against each other. After a hard practice session, the team meets back up and chants quickly before going over today’s practice and finishing with a ‘breakdown.’ Each coach makes sure to hype us up and give advice whenever applicable. The coaches and team work hard together with the acronym F.A.M.I.L.Y, standing for “forget about me, I love you” in their minds as they go hard in whatever they do.
