The JV2 season’s opener against Turner Falls ended in a 7-1 win due to our team chemistry and individual skills prevailing against our opponents.
One of the most spectacular goals was when Anderson A. ’27 scored an incredible volley from a corner kick. The corner was very well-placed, setting Anderson up perfectly. This event helped turn the game’s tide in our favor and rejuvenated our team’s morale.
Our next match against Deerfield Academy ended in a significant loss. While their superior physicality prevailed, our fighting spirit and determination never faltered. JV2 soccer bounced back the next day with a 5-4 win against Mahar Regional School. Colin Galli was the star of the night, bringing home a hat-trick and leading us to a close win.
