Juniors Soccer is Eaglebrook’s fifth soccer team. Our first game was against The Bement School, and we won 3 to 1, which was a great way to start the season on a positive note. One of the best scores was definitely from Ethan B. ‘27, hitting a bar-down goal and getting us that 3rd goal to secure the game. Additionally, great job to Henry S. ’26, who scored a first great goal, picking up the momentum. That was our first goal of the season, and it excited the team. Thanks to all the coaches who hyped up the bench and the team.
In practice before a game, we all do shooting, crossing, and ball dribbling drills. In regular practice, we usually start by doing stretches in a circle. After that, we get into groups of five and play four versus one rondos, playing keep away from the guy in the middle. Next, we do more drills, but we often scrimmage. Then, we meet up after practice to discuss some things we should work on; then, we thank the coaches and head back to the locker room.
