About

Established in 1929, The Hearth is the student newspaper of Eaglebrook School and the second-oldest continuously published middle school newspaper in the United States.

The Hearth is written and edited by Eaglebrook students with support from faculty advisors Emily Bedell and Ana Dias Leyden. Aric Russom is the newspaper’s lead photographer.

The editorial team produces three print issues per year at Country Fair, Winter Carnival, and Commencement.
